This
collection of design illustrates the process by which I come up
with much of the productionwork for vulne pro, small thumbnail roughs.
Interestingly enough I used to draw small like this years ago but
in college I was told not to do so. For design this is actually
wrong. The smaller the better. Even more interesting was when I
met Kenichi Sonoda at Anime Central in 99 and he told me to start
drawing small again. I have since gone back to the practice of small
thumbnails for design. Why? Because you can control the outcome
of design elements much better when dealing with small sketches.
