I based this shettier (flechette type weapons) on an old gun from the Civil War era. I'm sure the famed gunblade of Squaresoft's Final Fantasy 8 was also based on a weapon of this type. The original image was rendered in pencil then coated with polyurethane. This piece is a PhotoShop 5.5 colored version.
