This 6 page sequential short was an experimental comic style storyboard for the theoretical opening of Theos Ke Polemos. Theos was in the very early stages of development when these pages were done but overall the gist is still faithful to where Theos is now. Although much of the ideas in these pages are still being considered for the shows opening much of what is planned couldn't be put into the 6 pages here and will likely be modified. Bits of lyrics are scattered throughout the pages, they are from the song Lonely Soul by the band Unkle. The song fit the theme of the show to a T so we chose it for the opening music. Music will play an important part in establishing Theos Ke Polemos's atmosphere and mood.

All the pages were completed with a variety of medium. They were first penciled and then only the foreground character or objects were inked to simulate cell style. At this point the images were colored. The characters were colored with Tria and Berol markers to simulate cell shading. The backgrounds were painted with Winsor & Newton transparent watercolors with marker additions here and there. Once scanned subtle CG additions were added. At the time I wasn't full into CG color so traditional media was used for this work. Now I simply use CG colors to do cell shading.
