There isn't a whole hell of a lot I can comment about Final Fantasy VIII because I just finally after all this time picked it up and started playing it, as of 03/09/2001. So far the look and feel is great. I have played Final Fantasy VII though and I felt it was great). What I can say is I love the character designs and I feel Square is doing some first rate work on all their material. This piece was intended for freelance soliciting and was done around the same time frame as the Eva piece, so it also has some collage elements to it. I don't feel it's as strong a piece as the Eva piece though. Pencil painted with Winsor & Newton Transparent Watercolor, clippings from magazines, coated with polyurethane.
