Evangelion
Evangelion...
well, everyone should see it, at least once. One of the most incredible
series done animated or otherwise. This piece was done with the
intention of using it as a portfolio piece. I did this in 99 and
rather quickly I might add. This was all by hand with no computer
assist. It was fun doing it because I really got into the collage
aspects of this piece. Some of the tiny clippings are photocopied
from Eva model boxes and ADV's videos. Constructivism and collage
are some of my favorite mediums to work in, so I'm really happy
with how this piece turned out. Pencil painted with Winsor &
Newton Transparent Watercolor, clippings from Eva modle boxes and
photocopies from Eva boos (used for text only), and finally coated
with polyurethane.  |
