Do you have a crush?
This
is the first piece done for our pending cross-promotion with Studio
Ironcat. Steve Bennet has become a good friend over the course
of my con going and during SugoiCon I finally got a chance to talk
art with him and show him Vulne Pro's work. He really loved what
he saw so he requested I do some fanart of their manga properties
to help promote both Vulne Pro and Studio Ironcat. Well i couldn't
resist the oppurtunity to do Crusher Joe and this is the first piece
I did for them. I asked Steve if he minded if I did my own take
on Crusher Joe and he said go for it. I do plan to do more and see
where our possible future collaberations might lead. I must say
it was fun doing my own take on Crusher Joe, giving it a new look
while maintaining the feel of the classic characters. For those
of you old school fans you'll note that Crusher Joe was a big influence
on Cowboy Bebop along with Lupin the 3rd. For a better look click
